About the Event

This 6-week program is perfect for first-time or returning Playground students to learn the importance of trusting your impulses in scene work, in cold-readings, public speaking engagements, and auditions. You will learn techniques to help ground yourself in your work, be confident in the choices you make, and trust yourself.

“Coming out of your comfort zone is tough in the beginning, chaotic in the middle, and awesome in the end…because in the end, it shows you a whole new world.” – Manoj Arora

Through this 6-week program, students will master acting techniques such as:

  • Viewpoints Techniques adapted for actors by Anne Bogart & Tina Landau.
  • Improvisation
  • Meisner Technique
  • and more

At the end of the 6 weeks students will perform an Improv Showcase at our April Fools Improv Night.
