About the Event
This final course in our Acting Technique series is designed for students who are ready to deepen their craft and take greater ownership of their work. Building on the foundation established in Technique I and II, students will be challenged to make stronger choices, explore more complex acting techniques, and develop a deeper understanding of their own creative process.
In this advanced class, students will focus on integrating monologues into scene work, while continuing to build confidence, strengthen their listening and receiving skills, and develop a more nuanced approach to performance. Students will be introduced to new techniques, take on leadership within the warm-up process, and develop greater artistic independence in the room. The focus is on helping each actor become a more thoughtful collaborator, confident decision-maker, and engaged artist who is prepared to take creative risks.
