About the Event

This workshop offers  Playground students the chance to fine-tune their audition technique as they prepare to further their acting careers. We will explore:

  • How to find auditions
  • Preparing for your audition
  • Audition do’s & don’t’s
  • Headshots & resumes
  • Building confidence as an actor
  • How to submit to and audtion for agencies

Students will prepare a one-minute contemporary monologue and submit a self-tape before class. The class will be broken into three sections. We will discuss the professional aspects of acting, work on your monologue, and watch and give feedback on your self-tapes.
