Acting in Scene Work with Victoria Cruz

Students will be sent a selected scene from a play and be asked to prepare the scene for class. Preparation before class should include reading the play, understanding the characters' given circumstances, and memorizing the lines for class. No need to rehearse with other students before class. Students will work on the scene in class, be given constructive feedback, and acting techniques and games to help the actor deepen their understanding of the role to improve their performance and future performances.

Ensemble Work with Dylan Hudson

En•sem•ble (noun) a group of musicians, actors, or dancers who perform together. Within these two hours together we will explore the unique exchange of energy between ensembles. Using methods and techniques from Improvisation, Clown, and Viewpoints we will support, challenge, share, and collaborate. These techniques will help you feel “less awkward” collaborating with others, empowered to create, and feel more free in your body.

Audition Technique & Professionalism For The Modern Actor with Carson Wright

Mastering Cold Reading with Katie Ibrahim

Mime and Mask Work with Carson Wright

In Mime & Mask Work, you’ll deepen those skills by exploring traditional pantomime in the style of French actor Marcel Marceau, embarking on freeing and expressive mask work a la the Italian commedia dell’arte, and learning how your body is connected to your emotional life as an actor—and as a person.
