One of the most exciting elements in acting is understanding who holds the "power" in a scene. If it's you, how do you maintain the power so you win your objective? If you don't hold the power, how do you "get on top of it" so you can conquer your objective? Understanding this concept will help you think about your future scenes differently. It will allow you to play with tactics in a way you never have before and make for captivating moments to watch. 

You will have a scene partner, you will be given a neutral scene, and you will do the "build a room" exercise creating a space that is detailed, rich, and specific. Each partner will have an independent activity involving objects- this activity must be ACTIVE and independent of your partner, and you will continuously be asked "what do you want to happen next in the scene?" and pushed to mantain the power. Only one person can win.
