About the Event
This acting class helps students develop their full vocal instrument by connecting breath, body, and emotion to create a voice that is grounded, expressive, and alive.
Rooted in acting technique and inspired by Linklater voice work, the class emphasizes energy, presence, diction, articulation, breath support, and tone. Students will learn to speak with clarity and confidence while deepening their emotional connection to the text.
Throughout the course, students will write and perform original monologues, using their voice not just as a technical tool but as a powerful means of truthful expression and transformation.
Students will perform their pieces in an invited, recorded showcase on Saturday, November 22nd.
